The Pacific Northwest Guide to Glamping

Discover the Best Glamping in the Pacific Northwest

If you’ve ever tried pitching a tent in the middle of a rain-soaked Washington forest, you know: the PNW isn’t always kind to traditional campers. After a particularly soggy hike near Olympic National Park, I ditched the sleeping bag and booked a glamping yurt — complete with a heater, real bed, and floor-to-ceiling forest views. Game. Changer.

I am personally a big fan of glamping. Probably my favorite experience with this emerging form of vacationing is the Yurt Experience and the Tree House Experience. And, I discovered the joys of staying in a treehouse. Granted, it had no running water, and I had to do my business in a (very clean) porta-potty, but the treehouse itself was modern and cozy. Of course, there are plenty of tree houses available that DO have all of the bells and whistles. We shall get to just a few of them later in this post.

Those trips opened my eyes to just how magical glamping can be in the Pacific Northwest — and how completely different each experience can feel depending on where you go.

This guide curates the most epic glamping stays across Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia — from forest domes to waterfront Airstreams. I’ve hand-picked each spot based on scenery, amenities, and vibes, whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a solo reset in nature.
